Well, We finally had our big ultrasound!!!!!  The tech. who did it  was extremely rude and made what was supposed to be an awesome, happy experience not such a great one.  Seeing my little baby was incredible though.  Its soo amazing that this little body is growing inside of me.  The arms, legs, fingers, and toes were all very visible.  At one point it was even sucking its thumb.  For the longest time she said nothing about the gender.  I finally asked and she kept trying to get the baby to move until finally we could get a good view.. and sure enough, my intuition was right - ITS A GIRL!!!!!  I am so excited.   I really didn't care one way or another, as long as it was healthy.

Her name will be McKenna Taylor.. and she is expected to arrive mid May.  I could not be more excited and anxious about anything!  I can't wait to meet her :)

I finally survived and made it to Christmas break as well.  This week was CRAZY.  3rd grade was responsible for the Christmas play this year... so we had that going on, as well as parties, and just utter chaos.  Kids get so wild and crazy this time of year.  But, its over and I don't have to go back until Jan. 3rd.  I'm very happy to have the time off to relax and to get this house really really clean.  Hopefully someone will come along who wants to buy it real soon.

Grrr.. this day has been horrible.  The field trip went great today actually, and the rest of the day went smoothly, but it felt like it lasted for days.  I've only been up 13 hours.. and I swear it feels like 53.  By this afternoon I had a migraine that wouldn't stop.. as well as vomiting like crazy.  I finally made it home about an hour ago and haven't gotten off the couch since.  I'm hoping tomorrow will be better.

On a brighter note -- I went to the dr. yesterday and everything is going great w/ the baby.  I can't wait to find out if its a girl or boy!!! Yay!!

Ahhhh.. Finally a break from all the chaos of work and finally a little rest and hopefully relaxation.  The principal at my school gave us the option of working until 9 last night instead of coming in for the teacher workday today, so I worked a long one yesterday.  But its definitely worth it now that I'm at home with no where to go and nothing to do (except for all the cleaning and laundry.. ha).

I am still having the constant morning, noon, night sickness that constantly reminds me of this little baby growing inside of me. However, lately it has been much better because of the meds from the dr.  I realized yesterday that I only have 2 pills left.  So, of course I called... and what do they tell me?!  They want me to try and go without them for a while to see how I feel.  Oh, little do they know I've tried that and without taking it in the morning, I don't keep one thing down all day except for my body which doesn't lift off of the couch.  So after explaining that she tells me to "tough it out" until my next appt. which is a week from today.  Grrrrr.. So, I'm going to try and ration out my pills and save one for Thanksgiving and then for one day I have to work next week.  This is my first day without it in a while.. so it might prove to be an interesting day.

Hopefully if I feel okay today I'm going to do a little grocery shopping (making desserts for tomorrow) as well as a little cleaning and maybe Christmas decorating?  I normally decorate the day after Thanksgiving, but I'm extra anxious this year.  We'll see. :)

Its for real - I am PREGNANT!!!

For the longest time I had a hard time really accepting it. Oh, don't think I wasn't excited. I was more than thrilled!! For some reason I just didn't know that it would last. I didn't want to get my hopes up and get super excited, only to be crushed when something happened.

Today I am offically 14 weeks pregnant. I am finally into the second trimester, and I am confident that this little baby will make an entrance into the world in May '07.
